I go through your website and your Google Business Profile, then hand you a written plan ranked by what to fix first, for a fixed price quoted on the call. Some agencies call this an audit.

The call is free.

## Find out what's wrong before you pay to fix it.

Most owners call because the phone is quiet, and before anyone sells you a fix, it's worth knowing what's broken.

I search your trade in your area to see who comes up, then go through your website and your Google Business Profile, the box with your hours and reviews that shows up on Google Maps, the way a customer would. Then I write it all up, ranked by what to fix first.

If you're planning to sell, there's a second reason, because before anyone offers money for your business, someone on their side spends an afternoon doing this. The strategy is the same inspection, run for your side first.

## What you get.

You get a written report in plain English.

Every finding is ranked, so you can do the top three and ignore the rest if you want. Each one says what's wrong and what it takes to fix, and if something is fine, the report says so and moves on.

The report is yours, and you can take it to whoever you like.

## What I look at.

- Whether people can find you at all, and who shows up instead
- Whether your website does anything once they get there
- Your Google Business Profile, line by line, against the shops down the road
- Your reviews: how recent they are and whether anyone answers them
- How fast the site loads on a phone on a job site
- What comes up next to your name everywhere else

## I'd rather you fix the cheap things first.

The findings come ranked because on most reports the top three cost nothing but your own time.

Things like filling in your opening hours on Google and asking your good customers for a review often do more than anything I could sell you. Plenty of owners do that themselves and never call me back, and that's fine with me.

What I'm trying to avoid is the expensive version: paying for a rebuild when the Google Business Profile and the reviews were the problem all along.

If the report says build, that's [the website side](https://b-sideprojects.com/services/website/). If it says the ongoing work, that's [monthly SEO](https://b-sideprojects.com/services/seo/).

## Common questions.

**What do you check?**

I check your website and your Google Business Profile, and the full list of checks is on this page.

**What do I get?**

A written report in plain English, ranked by what to fix first.

**What does the strategy cost?**

It's a fixed price, quoted on the call, and the call itself is free.

**Do I have to hire you afterwards?**

No. Plenty of owners do the top three items themselves and never call me back, and that is fine with me.

**Is this the same as an SEO audit?**

Yes. Some agencies call it an audit, and I call it a strategy because it ends with a plan.

**How long does it take?**

You leave the first call with a price. The written report follows once I have been through everything.

## Find out what's wrong.

Thirty minutes on the phone, and you leave knowing what's worth fixing first.
